Welcome to my Personal Website

My name is Rick (Richard M.) Edwards. I own Seven Interactive, LLC and am married to the incredible Caroline Edwards. I’m proud to be Dad to Zach Edwards and grateful to have a wonderful Daughter-in-law, Alli Miller Edwards. These two have blessed me with two beautiful Granddaughters named Sadie Rose and Heidi Page. I have been genuinely blessed in countless ways and believe myself to be one of the happiest men in the world. That’s no exaggeration. I am truly happy.

Professionally speaking, I have been engaged in ministries of various kinds all of my adult life. Much of that time has been spent in the Christian publishing arena, having worked at LifeWay Christian Resources for about 10 years, followed by well over 10 years at Salem Publishing, a faith-based publishing component owned by Salem Communications.

In more recent years I am working with an outstanding group of people to publish Bible study resources for churches, primarily through SundaySchoolZone.com.

The most defining aspect of my life is my personal calling to ministry, which I experienced as a young high school student. So, at my core, I am a pastor, a preacher, and a publisher. These are things I love to do.

Over the years I’ve gained significant experience in people management as well as production and process management. I have extensive experience in managing an organization’s profit and loss, budgeting, strategic planning, interpersonal communications, corporate communications, training and execution. Particular strengths include print and digital publishing, human resource management, speaking and training. I’ve been fortunate over the years to have gained significant domestic travel and some international travel experience.

This website will serve, in part, as a sort of online resume. It will also provide a platform for me to record in a very public way just who I am, what I’m thinking, and what I believe God desires of me. The links to the right will lead to other pages that, hopefully, will represent who I am.
